Speaking about which Arsenal player can compete for the PFA Player of the Year award this season, former Brighton forward Glen Murray said: “There’s a few candidates isn’t there?
“You’ve got Saka, he’s got nineteen goal involvements, he affects games when his team need him to. He’s superb, I mean how young he is, how mature he acts, and how he leads by example.
“And whether it’s this year or whether it’s another year I’m not sure, but special things will happen for that group.”
Saka has 19 goal contributions in the Premier League for Arsenal, having scored 10 goals and provided nine assists in 26 appearances so far this season.
He’s likely to face competition from Premier League top scorer Erling Haaland and in-form Man United star Marcus Rashford for the Player of the Year award – but could pip both if able to guide the Gunners to the league title in May.
