This outlet was the one to break the story of him desiring a move to the Emirates Stadium in January.
The Brighton midfielder’s priority is reportedly to play Champions League football and that’s why he’s interested in a move to Arsenal.
With that being said, he’s yet to full agree to the deal because of a desire to listen to Chelsea’s proposal.
The Blues are willing to offer Brighton a higher fee than Arsenal and will explain their major future project to Caicedo soon.
The Ecuadorian midfielder is likely to make a final decision on his future after listening to Chelsea’s proposal and his future could be settled next week itself.
Caicedo made 43 appearances for the Seagulls last season and helped them secure a Europa League spot at the end of the Premier League campaign.
