Arsenal are thinking about the possibility of signing another midfielder alongside Declan Rice in the summer.

As per the Daily Mail, the Gunners are plotting a bid for Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia.

Mikel Arteta is eyeing multiple reinforcements in midfield and believes that the Belgian youngster can be available for cheap.

However, the Gunners are set to face competition from the likes of Man United and Liverpool for the 19-year-old.

Lavia made a bright impression in the Premier League last season and was one of Southampton’s best players even though they got relegated.

The teenager made 29 appearances in the league and even scored against Chelsea.
