Spurs referee appointed
Robert Jones will be taking charge of the Arsenal vs Tottenham clash in the Premier League on Sunday, September 24, it has been confirmed.
The 36-year-old official has so far refereed just four top-flight games involving the Gunners with a record of two wins and two draws.
Leno criticises Arteta for dropping Ramsdale
Bernd Leno told The Times: "You don’t build a relationship, which takes time. As a manager I would never change my goalkeeper, to say, ‘Oh, today I need a goalkeeper good with his feet, or one good at crosses.'
"Or, ‘Today I need a good shot-stopper because we play against Man City and they will have ten shots or something.’ I would never do that [dropping Aaron Ramsdale for David Raya]."
Odegaard nominated for UCL award
Martin Odegaard has been nominated for the Champions League Team of the Week.
The Arsenal captain was at his best in the 4-0 win over PSV Eindhoven, contributing on both ends of the pitch and also a goal.
