There has been plenty of drama at Arsenal ever since David Raya displaced Aaron Ramsdale as our No.1 despite joining on loan in the summer.
Raya endured a shaky start but he appears to be Mikel Arteta's preferred choice even during a busy festive period.
When asked about the competition between himself and Ramsdale, Raya told the Evening Standard: "If we see with each other when we are training that we can help each other, that’s how we are and that’s how we do.
"That’s the goalkeeper union that from the outside that you see.
"He is a top, top goalkeeper and a top, top team-mate. We are team-mates, we are fighting for one position.
"That’s the only problem being a goalkeeper, there is only one that can play and I am just there to help the team as much as possible."
Raya, who is set to join Arsenal permanently added: "Aaron and me we have a good relationship, especially as we push each other in every training session. That is going to make us better and it is going to make the team better.
"Of course [he has made me a better goalkeeper], and I think I have made him a better goalkeeper."
Only time will tell if Arteta's decision to play Raya has paid off, especially since Ramsdale got us so close to winning the Premier League title last season.
