Jurgen Klopp was in awe of Arsenal's strength as he praised the visitors for holding their own in the challenging 1-1 draw at Anfield.
"The good news is we are good as well.
"In a game like this, going down early to a set piece is tough, especially with the speed of Arsenal.
"But the game we played, how we started the second half we should have scored."
Indeed, both sides could have easily gotten the winning goal but it was not meant to be. Like Arsenal, even Liverpool were quite wasteful in front of goal, especially in crucial times.
"We pass instead of shoot, four or five times we do that, it's a lesson," Klopp continued. "But generally the game is great."
Although the game ended in a well-deserved 1-1 draw, there were a couple of controversial moments over handball calls in both halves.
The result has ensured Arsenal stay on top of the table in Christmas - the same as last year.
