Arsenal reject offers for Kiwior and Tomiyasu
Arsenal have rejected two loan offers Jakub Kiwior and Takehiro Tomiyasu from AC Milan, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, a tier-two Italian source.
Mikel Arteta is against the idea of hurting the depth of his squad this month as the Gunners look to compete in the Premier League and the Champions League.
Arsenal may recall Marquinhos from loan
As per the Daily Mirror, Arsenal are expected to recall Marquinhos from his loan at Nantes this month.
The 20-year-old has been a bit-part player at best, making just seven appearances in Ligue 1 this season.
Arteta told to strengthen defence
Former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman told talkSPORT: "Defensively Arsenal can be a little bit light, so you probably need a player who can play multiple positions there.
"The midfield I think still needs a little tweak here and there and somebody to come in [this month]."
