Finishing aside: Stats show another area Eddie Nketiah must improve

Eddie Nketiah has made the second-highest percentage of backward passes this season for top strikers in Europe, a recent release by the CIES Football Observatory showed.

Using their statistical model, the CIES Football Observatory, based in Switzerland, revealed that Nketiah has made 41.3% of his passes backwards.

Brighton's Evan Ferguson, who is ranked third, is the second Premier League centre-forward on the list.

Nketiah has scored six goals for Arsenal this season across all competitions. The 24-year-old not only needs to sharpen his finishing in Dubai, but he must work on his passing before the Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
