According to Football London, a tier-two source, Edu is working round the clock at Arsenal to draw up lists of transfer targets for vulnerable positions.
Signing a new striker in the summer remains a major priority for the Gunners. Football London understands Edu is already assessing 10 strikers to potentially move to the Emirates.
Some of the names on that list are Viktor Gyokeres, Ivan Toney, Victor Osimhen and Brian Brobbey. Arsenal are also reportedly looking at some Bundesliga strikers.
Players like Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard have both failed to perform consistently enough to nail down the striker's role.
Regardless of whether or not Arsenal win the Premier League, the club desperately need a clinical finisher leading the line next season.
