Man City double injury may provide massive boost to Arsenal ahead of crunch tie

Man City defenders Kyle Walker and John Stones have both missed training on Thursday after going off injured for England in the international break.

Walker limped off during England's game against Brazil on Sunday. The issue was initially described as a tight hamstring but his chances of playing against Arsenal have been rated 50/50.

Stones picked up an injury just minutes into England's second game against Belgium. The centre-back was reported to have had an issue with his adductor and is unlikely to be fit in time for the clash with Arsenal.

Arsenal have their own set of injury issues with Bukayo Saka withdrawing from the England squad due to a hamstring issue but is expected to be back in the squad for Sunday.

Gabriel Magalhaes also withdrew from national duty due to an inflamed achilles, while Martinelli has been out of action due to the cut he suffered on his foot against Sheffield. Hopefully, the players will be fit in time to face Man City.
