Mikel Arteta has given a cagey update on the fitness situation of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Magalhaes and Gabriel Martinelli before the Man City clash.
In his pre-match press conference, he stated: "Yeah there is a chance. They haven’t trained. Tomorrow we have another session, but there is a chance they can be available."
While the gaffer doesn't totally rule out either of the three Arsenal players, it seems like they are in a race against time to become 100% fit for this huge clash.
Because of the importance of all the aforementioned players, Arteta will hope they they can work hard to prove their fitness and can start at the Etihad Stadium.
Arsenal had, although, defeated Man City earlier this season without Saka in the team at the Emirates Stadium. But because of the surmounting challenge, he'd want his best players available to boost his side's chances of getting a big win.
