Three Arsenal players who have impressed vs Bayern...and four who must improve

Arsenal have gone down to a 2-1 deficit against Bayern Munich in the first half, despite taking the lead.

Bukayo Saka had put the Gunners in front in the 12th minute. But six minutes later, a defensive miscommunication allowed Serge Gnabry to equalize.

Then, in the 32nd minute, Harry Kane scored a penalty to give his side the lead. The Gunners have a lot to do to come back in the second half.

Who have impressed

Bukayo Saka: Saka has tormented Alphonso Davies on the left, dribbling past him repeatedly and causing him to get booked, which will force the left-back to miss the next match. Hehas worked hard defensively and scored a beautiful goal.

Martin Odegaard: The Arsenal captain is trying his very best in driving his side forward, working extremely hard in winning duels and making forward passes. He's created three chances and played a part in Saka's goal, while also troubling with his set-pieces.

Ben White: White has remained secure on the right, not being ruffled by Bayern's pace. He provided the assist for Saka's goal and then made a goal-saving tackle to deny Leroy Sane after Kane's goal.

Who must improve

David Raya: The Spanish goalkeeper is having a poor game. He had a lapse in concentration before the equalizer, unnecessary coming off his line to confuse his teammates. Couldn't do much for the penalty either and needs to regain composure in goal.

Gabriel Magalhaes: The dependable Brazilian centre-back is having a shaky game. He gave the ball away before Gnabry's goal and is being ruffled by Bayern's pace, getting too easily bypassed by Sane before he won the penalty.

William Saliba: Saliba is not being able to neutralize Kane's threat, often losing duels to him and being dragged out of positions. Gave away the penalty with a silly challenge on Sane.

Declan Rice: Rice is just not being able to impact Arsenal's game as he normally does. Almost like an isolated figure in midfield and not being able to do much to stop Bayern's breaks or create anything going forward.
