Bayern Munich eager to sign Arsenal teen who scored 10 goals in one game

According to The Telegraph, a tier-one source, Bayern Munich are monitoring Chido Obi-Martin in hopes of signing him this summer.

The teenager, 16, shot to fame for scoring 10 goals against Liverpool earlier this season. He was also in the news recently for hitting seven goals to take his total tally up to 28.

While it is a matter of pride that an Arsenal Academy starlet is hitting so many goals, the downside is he's now a matter of interest for top European sides.

Bayern are at the top of the queue but Arsenal are hoping to get Obi-Martin to sign his first professional contract.

He's 16 now and cannot sign a pro deal till he turns 17; the Gunners are believed to be in talks with his representatives.
