Martinelli and Magalhaes named in Brazil squad for Copa America 2024 – Jesus misses out

Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli and Gabriel Magalhaes have been called up to represent Brazil at the Copa America 2024 while Gabriel Jesus has not made the cut.

Martinelli shared his thoughts on being called up and added a word about the devastating floods in Brazil.

"Feeling of pride in representing the Brazilian team again," wrote the Arsenal winger.

"But I have to express my sadness for everything that is happening in the south of Brazil and say that we will be during the Copa América, fighting for all Brazilians who now need our help more than ever. My heart is with you 🇧🇷"
