‘Progress is eminent!’; ‘Happy we got heard’: What our users say about NEW UPDATE of AFC Live app

Hello Gooners, the fresh AFC Live app update rolled out, and a lot of our users have already appreciated the new look and features we have prepared for you. We are really thankful to you for all the feedback you’ve shared with us in the comments and your messages to our support team.

Lewis King Machendra: “The new design is really refreshing, plus that dark theme is finally there, which makes the whole update 9/10 by my personal rating. Fix some mor issues and I give it an honest 10/10”

Born Gunner: “I was one of those who been asking for dark theme for many months, happy we got heard, thanks a lot”

McVince: “The progress and effort made are eminent. I see ourselves heading towards live streaming!”

While live streaming is not on the agenda right now, there’s no lack of big changes in the latest update. One of them is a premium, ad-free subscription. As an unofficial app, we need adverts to maintain and develop the app. The premium subscription is an alternative that some of our users have already appreciated.

Surfer Rosa: “Personally, I have lots of free apps on my phone, so adverts are something I am kind of used to. But I can see why people get annoyed with them, so premium subscription is a nice way out.”

Peter Drury: “I’m getting it as soon as I can, simple”

Another cool feature that will help Arsenal fans follow their club even more closely is the new match and transfer centres. Here, you will find every, even the least talked about transfer, and detailed game coverage.

Mohamed Abulafia: “The only thing I can be sorry about is the fact that we got this match centre at the end of the season. All stats and details in one place, very helpful when there’s a game going”

Deirdre Finley: “Love the transfer page, no longer having to go for other websites like Transfermarkt to check the facts”

Finally, there’s something for our blog writers. Now, the road from posting a blog to getting to the app’s front page is much shorter and easier. Once you’ve shared your thoughts on the blogging platform, all it takes is five likes from your fellow fans and voila, your blog gets to the AFC Live front page for more views, likes and shares.

Martin Delgado: “Nice to see regular users posting their stuff like professional writers, feel just so right for a fans’ app”

Of course, when a new update rolls out, there are some things fans struggle to accept. We never shy away from your criticism and are always thankful for your reports, suggestions and ideas on how to make the app better.

Adewale John: “The update is good but some bugs are there, like not getting reply notifications. Fix that and it will be almost perfect”

Albert Prince: “Once you add transfer values, it will be arguably the best unofficial app there is”
