Phil Foden beats Declan Rice, Martin Odegaard to win Premier League Player of the Season

Phil Foden has won the Premier League's Player of the Season, beating his teammate Erling Haaland and Arsenal's Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice.

Reacting to the win, the Manchester City man said: "To win this award is an achievement that I am extremely proud of.

"The Premier League is acknowledged as the greatest league in the world, and it is a pleasure to have been nominated with so many other great players who have all enjoyed special seasons for their clubs."

Foden has had his best-ever season till now, bagging 25 goals and 11 assists across competitions.

Rice and Odegaard have been equally instrumental in Arsenal's title challenge but Foden's attacking contributions have given him an advantage.
