On Tuesday last week, Islington Council sent a letter to business owners informing them of a "potential" open bus parade on Monday, May 20, 2024 at 5pm.
"The aim of this letter is to set out what may potentially happen if the parade goes ahead, therefore as a local business you can make any necessary plans," it reads.
In addition to the above information, a schedule and route was provided, along with information about safety and facilities:
5pm: The parade would start from Emirates Stadium at Drayton Park, travelling along Drayton Park, Aubert Park, Highbury Grove, St Paul's Road, Upper Street and back to the stadium.
7pm: The parade would arrive back at Emirates Stadium, for a short appearance by the players on the podium above The Armoury store on Hornsey Road.
8pm: The celebration event ends.
But, unfortunately, this was not meant to be for Arsenal.
