Italian journalist says prolific Serie A striker is open to joining Arsenal

Victor Osimhen would like to join Arsenal from Napoli according to Italian journalist Valter De Maggio.

“Osimhen wants the Premier League, if the offer didn’t arrive then he would consider the Arab one," said Maggio.

"There is no club that pays the clause today, Osimhen would like Arsenal otherwise he would consider Saudi Arabia.”

Osimhen scored 15 league goals in 2023/24, 11 fewer than his tally last season but he also played 8 fewer games.

He has been linked to a number of other clubs, most significantly to London rivals Chelsea.
