According to The Athletic, Fabio Vieira is likely to be sold by Arsenal after barely featuring all season in a tense race to win the Premier League.
The Gunners ultimately fell short by two points but the fact that Mikel Arteta didn't rely on Fabio at all just shows he's not part of the plans going forward.
The report claims Fabio appeared just 15 times across competitions, mostly off the bench, as Arteta is not happy with the midfielder's performances in training.
It's not up to the standard of what the boss expects from his players.
Vieira started 2023/24 brightly and made three goal contributions in Arsenal's first 12 Premier League games. However, The Athletic claims his form in training dropped drastically limiting him to a bench role.
Arsenal are expected to get rid of several players this summer and Vieira is certainly one of the names on the list.
