Newcastle not interested Ramsdale

Aaron Ramsdale will not join Newcastle United this summer despite rumours linking him with a move to re-join former boss Eddie Howe.

According to reports, Newcastle view Nick Pope as their number one, while Ramsdale would not be willing to come in as the second choice.

Xhaka to complete coaching badges

Former Arsenal midfielder Granit Xhaka will travel to England next week to complete his coaching badges. He started the course while at the Emirates and is close to finishing it.

“If I could change time, I would start earlier," the Leverkusen man told CBS Sports.

"For sure, I want to be a player much longer, but this coaching licence helped me a lot - about the personality, the character, how you see the game from the outside. My challenges are still as a player though and I’ll enjoy that as much as possible.”

Premier League won't scrap VAR

Wolves filed a motion to abolish VAR in the Premier League but it's unlikely to pass, Give Me Sport report. The majority of clubs, including Arsenal, are likely to vote against scraping VAR hence the system is expected to remain in place. The vote will take place on June 6.
