Chelsea ranked as the biggest spenders since 2010

Chelsea have overcome Manchester City as the biggest spenders in the world since 2010, Mirror informs.

The newspaper published the list of 20 clubs that have splashed the biggest amounts of cash since the start of the decade, and the results suggest that rumours of Roman Abramovich losing interest in the club may be overstated.

Thanks to January transfers of Gonzalo Higuain and Christian Pulisic who will join the Blues in the summer, the West London club took the first place from Man City and will remain there till the transfer ban do them apart.

The Abu Dhabi-financed club, by the way, is now on the third place in this list as Barcelona just overcame the Citizens.

There are five other Premier League clubs in there, including the rest of 'The Big Six' and also Everton with their owner Farad Moshiri striving to join the elite with expensive purchases like those of Richarlison, Sigurdsson and Michael Keane.
