Could Michy Batshuayi get a chance under Frank Lampard?

Michy Batshuayi started the 2018/19 campaign at Valencia. In September, the striker scored against Celta Vigo becoming the first player to score in the top leagues of France, Germany, England and Spain in the 21st century.

However, the Belgian's spell in Spain didn't go well all in all and was cut short in January. Michy immediately joined Crystal Palace for the remainder of the season and it was a completely different thing.

The striker 25-year-old took part in 11 of 15 possible Premier League games for the Eagles, started 9 of them, scored 5 goals and concluded the season with a brace against Bournemouth on the Matchday 38.

In the meantime, Frank Lampard is about to take over at Stamford Bridge as Derby County have granted permission to Chelsea to speak to the Englishman over the job. Michy could have an opportunity to finally establish himself at Stamford Bridge.

As Alvaro Morata is likely to stay at Atletico Madrid, Gonzalo Higuain would probably return to Italy, the Blues would be left with Olivier Giroud and Tammy Abraham as strikers. Isn't it the right time to perform for the Belgian?
