Christian Pulisic drew 11 fouls in the 1-0 defeat to Porto on Tuesday night, more than any other players has in a Champions League game since 2011.
The last player to draw as many fouls was Lionel Messi in a semifinal win against Real Madrid.
Weirdly, it was only in the second half when the referee understood Porto's strategy and started showing yellow cards to their players. All in all, they picked up five bookings after the break.
It helped Porto neutralise Chelsea's attack in a single game, but the Blues are still through to the semi-finals where they are facing either Real Madrid or Liverpool.
