One incredible stat that proves Chelsea's Champions League triumph was one of most dominant ones ever

We all are well aware of the clean sheets we kept in our Champions League run on our way to the title (9, for those who cannot recall).

You might also have read how we dominated Manchester City in the finals by restricting them to less than 1 xG and only one shot on target.

However, here's a mind-blowing stat that will surely impress you - Reddit user Chelski365 details: "Ignoring stoppage time and decision time on the equalising penalty... Chelsea were behind for ONLY 2 minutes and 13 seconds of the entire Champions League winning campaign (1,170+ minutes played)... Including the time it took Krasnodar to celebrate their goal."

He further explains: "The only 2 times we went behind were to Porto (in stoppage time, whilst still being ahead on aggregate- the final whistle came 1 minute later) and to Krasnodar at home.

"The penalty for us was given 2 minutes and 13 seconds after their goal went in. Including the time it took for Krasnodar to celebrate their goal and to check and take the penalty- we were still only behind for 3 minutes and 27 seconds of a roughly 20-hour campaign."

That is insanely impressive - to not go behind in any knockout game (except Porto) is wonderful and of course, the 1-0 win in Portugal was just icing on the cake.

What a campaign for the Blues - hopefully, we can repeat this next season!
