According to DeichStube, a Bremen-based source, Chelsea are interested in signing Jiri Pavlenka, a Werder Bremen goalkeeper.
At it was Petr Cech, who works as a technical advisor with the Blues, who recommended the club to sign his compatriot.
The German side want to sell the keeper as they are in financial dire straits after getting relegated to the 2. Bundesliga. Pavlenka is said to be available for €3m.
