Chelsea are at risk of losing several key players of their youth teams as there are concerns over their path to the first team.

According to The Athletic, Tino Livramento, Lewis Bate and Myles Peart-Harris are stalling on agreeing new contracts, with their current deals expiring next summer.

Dynel Simeu, a 19-year-old centre-back, is expected to join another Premier League team on a two-year contract after refusing a contract offer.

He will not be the first Chelsea academy graduate to leave this summer as Marc Guehi is set to join Crystal Palace. Fikayo Tomori has already completed a permanent switch to AC Milan.

All those players have been concerned by the lack of opportunities the youngsters got in the first team under Tuchel: Tammy Abraham, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Billy Gilmour had all very limited game time in the final part of the last season.

It appears as if Frank Lampard's experiment of trusting the youth players is well and truly over: Mason Mount and Reece James are the only lucky ones who've managed to establish themselves in the first team in that period.
