OFFICIAL: 18-year-old Lewis Bate leaves Chelsea for Leeds United

 have confirmed the departure of 18-year-old 

The move is reportedly for a rumoured £1.5m, with the midfielder penning a 3-year deal till 2024 at his new club.

Bate first started training at Chelsea at the age of eight and captained our Under-18s in the 

 final. He was also named to the first team bench on 3 occasions.

There were rumours of some of Chelsea's brightest stars moving away from the club in search of playing time and it seems to have come true.

The report adds that some coaches consider Bate even better than Billy Gilmour at the age of 18.

The other 2 prospects face similar situations and are concerned over their development and playing time at Chelsea as Peart-Harris is close to moving to Brentford.

Livramento, a right wing-back, was the Academy Player of the Year - he also faces a long time on the sidelines as Cesar Azpilicueta and Reece James are ahead of him in the pecking order.

As it’s now, we’re the only big team making money from players in EPL and we still have a solid team A and B. Remember we have heavy senior players on loan. Those boys are like teenage children that wants to prove their maturity to their parents simply because their father and mother think they are still young. So, they rather leave home and live with a stranger to show their maturity without the guidance of mummy and daddy that truly loves them.
Mother and father even proposed they stay with relatives that will ensure proper guidance (loan) but NO they just wanna go out there!
I got this analogy from a fellow fan yesterday and I think it suits the situation on ground.
