Chelsea have tabled a €30/35m bid plus 

The Blues are bent on swapping one Frenchman for another, with an agreement close to materializing, Romano claim.

we fail to realize that whatever TT achieved last season, he is meant to supercede that. Bigger expectation from him this time around. None of these players are "bad"..., but he knew his challenges last term and wants to correct them. This is a player he wants and somehow it's not that he doesn't need Zouma, but I feel the boards wants to cut down some cost to get his target. hence Zouma who is our Fourth Choice Central defender currently is being used as the bait.

Thiago cannot be playing week in week out. and we all know how fragile our defence is when Zouma is in the middle. Zouma is currently out weakest link. that doesn't mean he's bad.. but judging with other defenders in our fold..

why are we signing a new CB when we have ZOUMA I just think the money can be spent better we have 6 players that can play at CB and if TA is sold then we will have no CF as in a 9 ‼️we need a top CF (Haaland)🙏too win the PL..CL..FA.CUP‼️and getting Haaland would be backing our manger and the hole team 💙💯‼️

Every coach has his own preferences. Lampard preferred Zouma and Rudi almost left. TT now prefers Rudi and Zouma has been relegated, and wants to leave as well. Everyone of them make mistakes including Rudi infact Rudiger's made obvious mistakes than Zouma during Lampard's tenure, including Christensen. It was Thiago and Zouma that brought stability along side Christensen... bearing in mind that both players are versatile however, Zouma plays 4 at the back better than Rudi, and Rudi plays 3 at the back better than Zouma. TT prefers the 343 system and is not willing to change what works better for him. Rudi is preferred  and Zouma wants more play time. Hence his will to leave. So the club takes the final decision.

Definitely an upgrade and Kounde is a very good ball playing CB who is versatile to play as a rightbck and in midfield . His composure is next to none and he will definitely strive in a back 3 system TT is trying to build on. I think this is a good business in terms of balance and future potential . Sevilla gets an experienced champions league winner and Chelsea gets an ambitious CB to shake up things bringing in strong competition and good motivation . I think if we pay 30M then its very even but for 35M then Sevilla gets a slightly better deal but for a 22yrs and such balance and composure I dont mind ...this guy makes it look effortless and you will think he is an attacking midfielder
