As per The Guardian, Sevilla have 'told Chelsea' to increase their offer for Jules Kounde, and the deal could turn more complicated as West Ham have entered the race to sign Kurt Zouma.
Kounde has a release clause of €80m which Chelsea don't want to pay - the La Liga club wants at least €45m in addition to Zouma.
Chelsea reportedly value Zouma at €35m and while they are open to including him in a deal, they don't want to pay the added amount that Sevilla demand.
West Ham are willing to shell out €23.5m for Zouma but that is 'unlikely' to convince Chelsea to sell.
However, should Zouma be tempted to join West Ham as he is settled in London, Chelsea will consider offering their deputy left-back, Emerson Palmieri, to Sevilla as part of the Kounde deal.
Chelsea definitely want Kounde - it's a matter of if the final negotiations with Sevilla can be fruitful.
