Saul Niguez had a first game to forget in a Chelsea shirt, getting substituted at half-time against Aston Villa.
Despite Tuchel showing great confidence in him and Saul himself vowing to improve, there's another player in the squad that has helped the midfielder.
Saul said in an interview with Fabrizio Romano: "After my poor performance in my first match (against Aston Villa), Thiago Silva in particular supported me a lot.
'My first game with Chelsea was much worse, believe me and don't worry', he said."
Thiago Silva was at fault for giving away a goal in his debut against West Brom last season, which resulted in a fair bit of criticism for the Brazilian.
However, with him growing into a leader and showing his quality, the centre-back soon became important enough to earn himself another year on his contract, and Saul will be hoping to do the same.
