Chelsea were ready to pay £85m for Federico Chiesa this summer (reliability: 4 stars)

Chelsea were ready to offer Juventus a huge fee of €100m (£85m) for Federico Chiesa in the summer transfer window, claims Italian outlet Calciomercato.

However, the Italian side were unmoved by that as they value the winger to be ‘untouchable’.

The Blues will make another push for Chiesa in the next months, but Liverpool and Bayern Munich are also strongly interested in him.

The 23-year-old winger starred in Italy’s Euro 2020 success, scoring 2 crucial goals, including one in the semi-finals!
