Tuchel on new Christensen deal: 'I expect good news in next days'

"From Andreas [Christensen], in my view, everyone wants the same thing. The coach, the club and the player," Thomas Tuchel told a press conference.

"In the next days, I expect some good news."

This is certainly encouraging to hear from the head coach amid reports about Barcelona's interest in the player.

Christensen's current deal with Chelsea is running out in June. However, despite a hitch on the player's side, it looks like a new deal is much more likely to be signed than not.
