Rudiger channels his inner Messi & more: 6 episodes from Juventus win you might have missed

Chelsea made easy work of Juventus two nights ago as the Blues thrashed the Serie A side 4-0 at Stamford Bridge.

We all saw the four goals and the epic Thiago Silva clearance off the line but there were other memorable moments from the game. Let's take a look at them:

Rudiger channels his inner Messi again

At least once a game, we can spot Antonio Rudiger advancing into the opponent's half and then dribbling the ball into the box as if he were Lionel Messi!

The centre-back was at it again in this game:

Rudiger wasn't able to get a shot off, however, as the defenders gathered around him and the ball went out for a corner.

Jorginho's crucial interception

Jorginho is not known for his pace but the midfielder made sure to turn on his engine to intercept this ball in the first half of the game.

Juventus were attacking and Cuadrado sent in a ball into empty space inside Chelsea's box. It would have been a great chance to score for the opponents if Jorginho didn't stick his toe in:

Tuchel's reaction to Ziyech's misplaced pass

Hakim Ziyech had a great chance to release Callum Hudson-Odoi in the box with a lobbed ball. However, his delivery was poor and the ball went out of play:

Thomas Tuchel could not hide his disappointment as he looked exasperatedly at his staff and then put his head in his hands:

Ziyech's defence-breaking through ball

Ziyech made amends for the error in the second half as he and Hudson-Odoi linked beautifully to create a big chance for Chelsea:

Hudson-Odoi could not find his pass, sadly. However, Ziyech's creativity is surely to be appreciated here.

Mendy forced into a fine save

McKennie latched on to a shot pretty well in the 82nd minute of the game. Edouard Mendy was not the most active keeper in the world this game but he had to be alert as he tipped the shot over the bar:

Reece's superb crossfield pass to Ziyech

Reece James scored this game and had a wonderful performance all-around. One of his best moments was a superb crossfield pass to Ziyech - Reece broke Juve's entire defence with his curving pass which the winger received in the opponent's box:

Ziyech could not score or create a big chance from there but my word, Reece's vision and execution were a thing of beauty.
