Thiago Silva has again been world-class for Chelsea this season and reports of another 1-year deal for the Brazilian have already surfaced.
While this move would be quite the fan-favourite, u/62frog on Reddit has gone further to explain his long-term goal for Silva.
The Blues fan wrote: "Him as a player/coach for his final years and transitioning to a full-time coach has been my dream for him.
"He’s a true pro (Giroud-esque), never complaining and always positive, he’s so well respected and can connect with the young ones to pass off knowledge.
"We knocked it out of the park when we signed him."
Thiago Silva's vast experience at age 37 would be a huge asset for Chelsea and with the fit better than was first imagined, it wouldn't be surprising to see the club try to keep him around after he retires as well.
