Zlatan pays huge compliment to Thiago Silva, calls him 'Ibrahimovic in defence'

If I have to name names I say Paolo Maldini, Nesta, Stam, Chiellini, Thiago Silva," Zlatan Ibrahimovic said when asked to name the best defenders he's played against, as quoted by Sempre Milan.

Ibra and Thiago Silva were teammates at AC Milan and PSG. The Swedish striker has opened up on their time together.

"When I was playing with him, I said that I have an Ibrahimovic in defence," Ibra added.

"He was the most complete defender, he knew how to do everything. Then we also went to Paris together, we won together.

"He is a top defender."

Thiago Silva keeps proving doubters wrong, remaining a key player for Chelsea at the age of 37.
