Haaland, Raphinha, De Ligt, Hazard & 12 more names in Chelsea's latest transfer round-up

Contract updates

Antonio Rudiger. At the moment, it's very likely that the centre-back leaves Chelsea in the summer as a free agent. Real Madrid are reportedly ready to offer him over €400,000 per week and Chelsea can't (or don't want to) match that. The Telegraph also reported that Real Madrid players are 'ready' to welcome Rudiger soon.

Thiago Silva. Chelsea are 'super happy' with Silva and the centre-back 'loves' working with Thomas Tuchel and the club, as per Fabrizio Romano. A new deal is on the horizon for Silva.

Cesar Azpilicueta. Thomas Tuchel said that he isn't stressing over Azpi's deal ending (it expires at the end of this season). While Barcelona are rumoured to be very interested in him, we can mostly expect him to stay here beyond this season.

Andreas Christensen. There were some complications with his deal in the middle but Romano and other reliable sources now claim that an extension will be agreed upon. Christensen just needs to sign it fast!

Potential arrivals

Aurelien Tchouameni. The Blues have been linked with him for quite some time and as per EuroSport, they will 'explore the possibility of striking a deal' for the player in January.

Chelsea are reportedly okay with Tchouameni joining the club in the summer as long as a deal is struck the next month. However, EuroSport isn't the most reliable source of transfer information - it's far more likely that the Blues make a move for him in the summer when they can better negotiate with Monaco.

Eden Hazard. Marca are a reliable source of information for Real Madrid news and they reported recently that the winger wants to stay with the Los Blancos until the end of this season at least.

Back in October, Fabrizio Romano made it clear that there has been no contact between the two clubs over a transfer.

Jules Kounde. As per the latest information from the Evening Standard, Chelsea will 'assess their squad' in January before deciding if a move for Kounde is necessary.

Kounde seems frustrated with life at Sevilla but a January move will mostly depend on the status of Rudiger and the injuries to the squad. This one is to keep an eye out for.

Matthijs De Ligt. Sport (Spanish media source) claim that Chelsea are one of the clubs interested in the centre-back. However, Mino Raiola has reportedly informed interested clubs that De Ligt's salary demands are high and that could be the 'main obstacle' in a deal. The defender wants to leave Juventus for a new challenge.

Rodrygo: According to El Nacional, Chelsea are prepared to submit a bid worth €80 million to sign 20-year-old Brazilian attacker Rodrygo Goes from Real Madrid.

Raphinha: Chelsea have 'strong interest' in the Leeds attacker, as per TV Dello Sport. They are working on a deal for him for next summer but face competition from other top clubs.

Erling Haaland: The striker reportedly is not very interested in a move to the Premier League and prefers La Liga football, as per Di Marzio. His agent Mino Raiola ha earlier named Chelsea as one of the possible landing spots for Haaland, who is likely leaving Dortmund in the summer.

Potential departures

Kepa Arrizabalaga. The keeper wants regular playing time and is willing to leave Chelsea next summer. Lazio are linked with him reportedly - Maurizio Sarri reportedly wants a reunion with Kepa, as per Sport.

Malang Sarr. Sarr had a poor game in his only Premier League appearance this season. As per Gianluca Di Marzio, Milan will work on loan solutions, looking for opportunities including Chelsea's Sarr. Chelsea have an 'excellent relationship' with Milan and can offer them Sarr in January.

Ross Barkley. The midfielder is clearly not in Tuchel's plans as he couldn't start despite COVID and injury issues to the squad. He's been linked with a move to Burnley and Newcastle in January.

Charly Musonda Jr.. The forward confirmed he'll leave Chelsea in 2022 when his contract expires.

Saul Niguez. Chelsea can't cut the loan deal short as Atletico will have to agree with it and they have a full squad at the moment. Saul is likely to complete his stint here and will leave in the summer with Chelsea having no plans to make his stay permanent.

Hakim Ziyech. Barcelona had some interest in Ziyech but as per Romano, the deal is now 'off' after the La Liga club signed Ferran Torres from Manchester City.
