Chelsea have no interest in loaning Harvey Vale out this season, according to The Athletic and Goal's Nizaar Kinsella.
Huddersfield Town have made a loan bid for Vale but after it became apparent that Chelsea would reject it, they had to switch their attention to Tino Anjorin.
Vale has made his debut for the Blues' first team, with Thomas Tuchel very impressed with the 18-year-old.
As per the reports, the boss wants the option of using him more often in the remaining part of the season.
Vale is in contention to play against Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup fixture on February 5. He may even join the squad for the Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi.
This also can be a part of Chelsea's strategy to extend Vale's contract. The youngster's contract expires in 18 months, and the club wants to show him there is a viable path to first-team football for him.
