'He has what the number nine would smell': Thierry Henry has already explained what Jesus can provide to Chelsea

Chelsea have been heavily linked with a move for 

 striker wants to leave the Premier League champions and could be on the move to London.

Thierry Henry, arguably the Premier League's best forward ever, has given his stamp of approval to Jesus as he explains what makes the Brazilian a great striker.

The former Arsenal man told CBS Sports back in April: "What he can give offensively to the team [is something I really like]. We saw that he scored four goals at the weekend [vs Watford]. 

"When he is in the box, he's one of the three that is playing, or since [Sergio] Aguero left, he has that [number] nine instinct. He has what the number nine would smell.

"What I like with him is that he puts pressure, whether it's on the left, on the right or in the middle. He doesn't have a problem to defend in those situations by coming back and helping his team."

Jesus has scored 95 goals in 236 appearances for City, scoring eight times in 28 Premier League games last season. Chelsea are yet to launch an official bid for the player.

Gabriel Jesus has been 'offered' to Chelsea: The Telegraph

As per reliable source The Telegraph, Manchester City striker 

 expires at the end of the next season and he has made his intention to leave clear. 

The source claims that Jesus is valued at around £43m. However, there might be some room for negotiation if the Blues step up their interest and Jesus outright chooses to go to Chelsea.

At the moment, two other clubs are interested in the Brazilian forward too with

 at getting the Brazilian if they're really interested. 

If Chelsea gets Gabriel Jesus, here are three ways 

Tuchel could use Gabriel as another centre-forward option spearheading his attack next term.

He would be needed in that position given that Lukaku didn't really shine in that area this season. 

Tuchel still needs a player who can play a variety of positions in his attack without complaining. For now, Havertz is the only player who can do that. 

However, Gabriel is another player who could do just that. He also enjoys playing on the left, a position that allows him to cut in and shoot with his stronger right foot. 

Tuchel could go with a two-pronged attack. In that system, Gabriel Jesus would make a deadly pair with someone like Lukaku or Havertz.

Never believe anything Thierry Henry says! In our current situation I would say if Lukaku leaves then Broja is a better option & has played more games!
