Xavi 'wants' Azpilicueta at Barcelona, Tuchel 'trying to keep' captain at Chelsea: Romano

Barcelona did not offer right-back Dani Alves a new contract and he will leave the club this summer, it was confirmed yesterday.

After this decision, manager Xavi Hernandez has turned his eyes to one player - Cesar Azpilicueta. This is as per Fabrizio Romano.

As per Fabrizio Romano, Xavi 'wants' Azpi. However, Thomas Tuchel is 'trying to keep' his captain with Chelsea.

The defender is yet to make a final decision on the matter. He has one year left on his deal and should he leave, Chelsea will get a small transfer fee from Barca.
