In his latest video on YouTube, Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on

If tuchel is desperate I think we would have signed some unknown defender by now or some defenders that have been offer to us, desperate isnt the word, which is why we didnt get kounde, we've still got about a month in transfers theres still a long way, and remember tuchel isnt a scout or the transfer negotiator, bohely is the one in charge of that section, as we dont have football director.

Hey Martin,  eventho the season is close by, that doesnt mean we cant sign players, there's no amount of complain you'd make right now that would get us a CB tomorrow,  we just have to look at the positive and be realistic witch the manager, owner and the fact that the owner is the one running around to get deals done.

I agree it's a mess but we will have to just get on with it..
If we are lucky to get one of the aforementioned it might just cost us ...but we have wasted plenty of money before ???

Martin, again, when we all knew Christensen and rudiger was gonna leave, was chelsea under bohely or under the uk government? we could do anything which is why rudiger left for free, Christensen was always bound to happen at some point,  and as for lukaku we cant go out there and spend bog on a striker, what if Ronaldo doesnt fit tuchel style of play the way lukaku didnt fit, it's a 50/50 chance, chelsea aren't know for having expensive strikers that works out, Drogba, costa, Anelka,  weren't expensive, and to add to it, if we dont give these players game time, how do we attract buyers, pre-season is mostly a showcase time to audition players ( unwanted or over required players ) for other clubs to buy, we had surplus players on the tour,  Billy wasnt sent home he was sent out to preseason with the academy guys. if no one want to play for tuchel then why is Ronaldo open to join us, why did the likes of sterling and koulibaly join us ? and why havent every player run down their contract, cause they dont wanna play for him, all the player that went to barca weren't our first choice,  and neither were we their first choice, we never bid for dembele, joined wasnt a tuchel signing,  it was more of the board ( marina, roman, and the rest) raphina didnt want to come to Chelsea cause his dream was to be in Barcelona,  it's not about the manager here being rejected,  it's about the target choice and our targets themselves.

Not that he is not one of the first choice, the American is looking for something cheap and that’s why the attention shifted away from him in the first place, not Tuchel’s mistake.
We lost de ligt because of price and we want ake below 40 which is why it never worked out.
They sold koulibally below 40 because he is old so you have to know the owner never want to spend big.

If the new owners really mean the job then j was expecting them to stand up in the dying minutes and stop rudiger from leaving when they were sure of the take over but all they want to use Chelsea for is business and we will become the new Man U

As I have said for weeks Chelsea straight away should have been looking to get two defenders in as soon as the window was open but messed around especially with the AKE situation for weeks who is just an average player and now after weeks of getting only one new centre back they were going back to try and get Kounde who probably knew he was never one of the first choice’s that Tutchel wanted really because a lot of players don’t want to come and now Tutchel is desperate to get anyone. If they start the season with this defence they will be in big trouble as it is strong enough.
