Everton in advanced talks to sign Barkley and Batshuayi (reliability: 4 stars)

As per journalist Graeme Bailey, a good source for Everton, the club is in advanced talks to sign both Ross Barkley and Michy Batshuayi.

Barkley is keen to return to his old club, with Everton now just needing to agree on some 'small details' before completing a permanent deal.

A deal for Batshuayi is not as close but the Toffees have targeted him as a replacement for Richarlison.

The striker is not expected to play a role for Chelsea next season and the Blues will let him go if a decent offer arrives.
