OFFICIAL: Levi Colwill joins Brighton on loan

Colwill's loan was one of the requirements for Brighton to agree to selling Marc Cucurella to Chelsea on a permanent deal.

As per Fabrizio Romano, there is no buy-option within the deal for Colwill so we will see him return to Chelsea next season.

We wish Levi all the best for his time at Brighton!

W didn't let go Lamptey and Livramento. They wanted to leave. You shouldn't keep a player who want to go.

The thing is simple, if you give them confidence that they can play more.. no young player would leave.. Didn't we do that with Odoi ? Why couldn't we do that for these 2 ??

Anyways... It is what it is.. They left and we had no one to fill in for James and Chilly...

We can't guarantee playing time for such young players. They have to hunker down and be patient to be guaranteed to play in a team like Chelsea.

Please don't say "we can't gurantee".. It seems that you are the Coach..... Anyways, what i am saying that the decision comes from the Coach... giving confidence and the stick to these youngsters...

I already knew you were going to say that, my friend... I have a different opinion to why i said that but i understand that's not gonna matter in this discussion... But the message i wanted to say is clear... Youngsters need to be given stick and some confidence...

If we could hold off Broja's sale, Azpi's sale, Odoi's sale.. We could have done the same for the above 2 players i mentioned...

listen guy we have James, Lampty, then, and Azpi, Azpi and James before Lampty, then Livra, how are you going to give them all playing time in same position,some will go and some stay.

The reason  we are going back is due to inexperienced of out youth players, since three years we started promoting them, we started going back, the same problem with Man. U, Tottenham, Arsenal, then Chelsea, Liverpool and Man. City continues recruiting in Europe. the youthful of our team  brought us down, we can continue promoting youths while we go down.

wat do we even need those guys for initially. those kind of guys can't survive in Chelsea, especially in champions league
