Crystal Palace might return for Conor Gallagher who excelled during a loan spell there last season, according to The Sun.

They were frustrated in their attempts to bring him back this summer, as Thomas Tuchel wanted the 22-year-old to have a role at Chelsea.

However, the start of the season was tough for Gallagher who was even sent off in one of the games.

If he fails to establish himself in the first team, Palace could return with a £20m bid for the player who scored eight goals and provided five assists in 39 appearances across all competitions.
