5 players were 'unhappy' at Chelsea under Tuchel — 2 still at club

The Athletic report that Romelu Lukaku, Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi were 'unhappy' at Chelsea in the summer.

These players wanted to leave the club as they realised they wouldn't get much playing time under Thomas Tuchel.

Interestingly, two of them—Pulisic and Ziyech—are still at the Bridge. They were linked with summer exits but ended up staying at Chelsea.

Lukaku and Hudson-Odoi left the Blues on loan deals. The Blues have an option to recall Cal from his Bayer 04 loan in January.

Only Werner left Chelsea permanently, rejoining his old side Leipzig on a reduced price.
