Potter considering January recall for Hudson-Odoi (reliability: 4 stars)

Graham Potter is considering bringing Callum Hudson-Odoi back to Chelsea from a season-long loan to Bayer Leverkusen in January, Bild reports.

The new Chelsea coach is a fan of the winger and wanted to sign him for Brighton.

As per the terms of the loan deal, a January recall is possible - even though the player himself might want to complete the season in Germany.

The 21-year-old decided to leave Chelsea as he was frustrated by Thomas Tuchel leaving him out of the match squad for the Premier League opener against Everton - and by lack of regular game time in general.

However, he was convinced by Todd Boehly to leave on loan rather than permanently. Now, it would be up to Potter to convince the player to come back in January.
