Kepa out till World Cup & more: Potter provides fitness update ahead of Arsenal game

"Kepa, no. I don't think he will play before the World Cup," Graham Potter told a press conference before the Arsenal clash.

"[Mateo] Kovacic trained today so he will be in contention.

"Carney [Chukwuemeka] has a slight issue with his hamstring that we are getting to the bottom of."

There was no mention of Denis Zakaria there, but as the Swiss midfielder took part in the training session later on Friday, he's set to be in contention to feature against Arsenal.

On the other hand, Ben Chilwell joins the list of long-term injured players that already includes Wesley Fofana, N'Golo Kante and Reece James. None of these players should be back before the World Cup.
