Chelsea identify pacey Aston Villa forward as 'possible replacement for Pulisic'

 forward has been linked to Chelsea in the past, but the Blues opted to sign Pulisic instead in 2019 for €64m. 

Bailey has registered four goals and two assists in 16 assists for Villa this season. On the one hand, Pulisic has continued to struggle to impress anyone with just one goal this season in 18 games for Chelsea. 

It remains to be seen if Villa will be willing to sell the pacey striker but he looks like someone who will be an upgrade on 'captain America'.

The USA international will have to significantly improve his performances and be more consistent in getting involved in goals to start regularly for Graham Potter’s side.

Speaking to GQ about his current situation, 

 said: "I'm still extremely happy with the team I'm on now. So I'm happy.

"I think there's similarities, there's differences between the leagues. Yeah, it's put me in a good spot to be where I am now."
