Chelsea wants one more Leipzig player after signing Nkunku (reliability: 5 stars)

Chelsea have been linked with a move for RB Leipzig midfielder Konrad Laimer, per the reliable Christian Falk of Bild.

However, reports say Laimer is not interested in joining Chelsea and has made it clear he only wants to move to Bayern Munich.

The 25-year-old can play as a central or defensive midfielder and is venerated for his ball skills, passing, pace and raw power.

The idea for Chelsea is to make a double swoop for Laimer and Christopher Nkunku in 2023. If the Austrian doesn't arrive, the Blues could go full throttle for Arsen Zakharyan.

As a reminder, Chelsea have reached an agreement to bring Nkunku to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2023.
