Chelsea 'remain in race' but another club frontrunners for 165-goal wonder Endrick: Romano

 wonderkid Endrick to Stamford Bridge. The striker scored 165 goals in 169 games at the youth level and already features for the senior side.

 are ahead of the Blues in the fight to land the 16-year-old if a report from Fabrizio Romano is to be believed.

"Real Madrid are now leading the race to sign Endrick, pushing as reported in the last few days. Official negotiations are ongoing with Palmeiras on €60m fee, including add-ons," Romano tweeted.

Endrick's father names one club that made concrete offer for 16-year-old wonderkid - not Chelsea

However, according to the 16-year-old's father, one club is ahead in the race.

"There are clubs from several countries that are interested, but the only one that has sat down with Palmeiras was 

"They talked, made proposals, but Palmeiras refused. They saw that Endrick could still give Palmeiras a lot."

PSG reportedly bid £40million for the youngster who can only join a European club in July 2024 when he turns 18 years old.

Chelsea are apparently yet to make an offer to Palmeiras, but they reportedly welcomed Endrick to the training ground at Cobham a few weeks ago and even introduced him to fellow Brazilian 

Chelsea target Endrick learning English, says he is waiting for the 'best proposal'

Fabrizio Romano reports that Brazilian teenage phenomenon 

 has been learning English, amid interest from top European clubs.

This could be a major boost for English clubs like 

, but Endrick maintains that he is open to all proposals.

“But I’m not gonna answer about my future club. Of course, I’d like to play 

 in 2, 3 or 4 years”, he told Gazzetta. 

“I’m open to all the clubs, waiting for the best proposal for me and my family”.

Chelsea have had Thiago Silva speak to Endrick's family and have also hosted them at Cobham, as per reports. The Blues look to be well-placed to sign the youngster.

Would be great to get this kid but let’s be honest for a 16 year old Real Madrid would look a lot more attractive besides there are a few Brazilians already at Madrid , but who knows Todd may be able to work his magic I hope so 💙💙💙
