'He's a beast': Brazil legend Juninho on Chelsea-bound Andrey Santos

Chelsea are set to sign Vasco da Gama wonderkid Andrey Santos. The Blues will pay €12.5m for the midfielder.

The signing has not been announced yet but the player himself has practically confirmed it.

Ex-Brazil midfielder Juninho Pernambucano, who played for Vasco da Gama, piled praise on Andrey Santos back in July last year.

“I’ve never seen a player, at 18, as ready as he is,” he said, as quoted by Fabrizio Romano. “Physically, he’s a beast, technically he’s on a high level.

“He’s not going to be better than me, he’s going to be much better than me.”
